With all the flooding that happened in Baldwin the last couple of days, I didn't have much time to update the site. Here is something quick.

So, about a week ago, Mark Attanasio said he is reluctant on signing free agent pitching. Really, Why? You should be more concerned with getting a general manager who can properly asses pitching. Broken record? Yes. Let's go over why you should be afraid of more than his ability to sign free agent pitching. Let's look at the bad pitching he has been involved in.

Free agent pitching:
Jeff Suppan 42 mil.
Doug Davis  4.25 mil.
Randy Wolf 29.75 mil.
Latroy Hawkins 7.5 mil.
Eric Gagne 10 mil.
Jorge Julio 1 mil.

totaling 94.5 million dollars (more than our team's payroll this year)
I'd be pissed if somebody blew 94 dollars of mine, let alone 94 million.

Ray King
Scott Linebrink

Do any of these guys have anything in common? They are all past their prime. So Mr. Attanasio, please think about replacing the GM before he trades Prince away for some hacks. We could do better.
